What is the PTI CloudController?
The CloudController is a cloud-native access control hardware solution built specifically for the self-storage industry. It pairs with the StorLogix Cloud platform to provide a foundation for your facility’s access control and site security without the need for a dedicated onsite PC.

How many access points can a single CloudController manage?
A single CloudController can manage up to 64 access points, 615 inputs, and 388 outputs, making it highly scalable for large or growing facilities.
Is it difficult to switch from a FalconXT to a CloudController?
No. The CloudController and FalconXT housings share the same physical footprint and use the same type of wiring, making the hardware upgrade path straightforward for existing PTI customers.
Do I need a Cloud Adapter to use the CloudController?
No. Unlike the FalconXT, which requires a Cloud Adapter to connect to StorLogix Cloud, the CloudController has a built-in Ethernet port for direct communication with the cloud server.
Can the CloudController power my keypads?
Yes, the CloudController is designed to power keypads directly, similar to the FalconXT, simplifying your onsite wiring.
Does it support mobile entry for tenants?
Yes. When integrated with StorLogix Cloud and the StorID mobile app, the CloudController allows tenants to open gates and doors using their smartphones.
What happens to my data if the internet goes down?
The CloudController is designed for high reliability. While the cloud provides centralized management, the controller maintains local intelligence to ensure your facility remains secure and accessible even during temporary network interruptions.
What kind of warranty comes with the CloudController?
PTI typically offers a 2-year warranty on new equipment (purchased from late 2025 onwards). We recommend contacting PTI Sales for the full terms and conditions applicable to your region.
